About the Scientific Journal

"Asian Studies: History and Modernity" is an academic journal published by the Tuvan Institute of Humanitarian and Applied Socio-Economic Research under the Government of the Republic of Tuva (TIGPI).

The publication addresses current issues in Tuvan studies, Oriental studies, history, economics, and politics, thereby fostering the interdisciplinary study of Tuva and neighboring regions of Asia. The journal also publishes materials from the TIGPI archives.

Open Access Policy
The journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public promotes a broader global exchange of knowledge.

Articles published in the journal are licensed under the Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. This license permits users to read, copy, distribute, and create derivative works from the material for non-commercial purposes, provided that the original work is properly cited.
